Soularize 2017
This October, Illuman will be exploring the ways in which men are “eldered.” This can be understood in two ways. First, men are supported to become their authentic selves by elders: men who have walked that path before them. To be eldered by another man is to be recognized, respected, and met at the soul level. How, where, and when does this happen? We hope you will join us in this work from October 26-29, 2017.
Illuman Leadership Retreat
The leadership for Illuman gathers annually at the Triangle Y Ranch Camp in Oracle, Arizona. This meeting brings together men from the many chapters of Illuman. All chapters are encouraged to send one or more representatives. If you are interested in attending, please consult the convener of your local chapter.

2016 Rites of Passage - Pilgrim Park Illinois (Midwest)
What is the “Rites of Passage” for men?
The program is a five-day/four-night deeply prayerful and soulful experience that builds on the classic patterns of male initiation through simple and moving rituals and teaching. Each day includes group prayer, major teachings on central masculine spirituality themes, quiet time for reflection, and sharing in the context of a “home group.”

Cincinnati/Dayton Small Group Meeting
The Cincinnati/Dayton Small Group of Ohio Illuman will be meeting on Sunday, May 15, 2016. This month we will be discussing topics and information sourced in part from Jim Clark and a retreat he offered in October 2015 on Healing the Male Soul. Our conversation will focus primarily on male sexuality and healing.
Drumming will begin at 6:00 p.m. sharp, followed by a light supper and check-in. A round of council will follow our discussion. Please contact Dan by phone or email for details and to participate.

2016 Rites of Passage - Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness

Arizona Male Spirituality is a volunteer organization dedicated to helping men progress on their spiritual Journey. As a licensed regional affiliate of the Illuman global organization, we host the bi-annual Men's Rites of Passage program in Arizona (open to men from around the world). We also sponsor various conferences that continue to explore specific issues of male spiritual development.
Cincinnati/Dayton Small Group Meeting - Pat Conroy
We will listen segments of an interview with the author Pat Conroy who wrote The Great Santini and The Prince of Tides. Pat Conroy died last month. Pat had a less than ideal relationship with his father, and that relationship will be the object of what we focus on in the interview and what we will comment on in our council of sharing.
