Bill Plotkin is a depth psychologist, wilderness guide, and agent of cultural evolution. He is also the founder of Animas Valley Institute, an organization created to "contribute to cultural transformation by fostering nature-based personal development and thus the maturation of individuals and the human species."

- Soularize 2018 will take place at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa near Bernalillo, New Mexico (approximately 30 miles north of Albuquerque).
