In Search of Father Nature - A Morning Wandering
Take some time to renew your spirit by joining in our Southwest Ohio wandering. Over Fathers Day Weekend, we will immerse our selves in the natural beauty of Caesar Creek State Park. We will contemplate the masculine side to what most describe as "Mother Nature."
Date: June 16, 2018, 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Location: Flat Fork Ridge Parking Area at Caesar Creek State Park
Cost: $10 fee includes lunch
RSVP: Tom Sparough for complete directions and what to bring and expect at or call 513-602-0948.
Conveniently located between Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton, this location offers a great variety of natural settings and activities including forest hiking, flower gazing, bird watching, and fossil finding.
Our starting spot is strategically located next to flush toilets along the banks of Caesar Creek Lake, and is handicapped accessible. There is a variety of terrain and pathways, from the gentle to the challenging.
We will gather at 9 a.m. to have a brief check in, then enter a three hour wandering. We will re-gather for a barbecued lunch and discussion, concluding about 1:30.
