If we observe ourselves truthfully and non-judgmentally, seeing the mechanisms of our personality in action, we can wake up, and our lives can be a miraculous unfolding of beauty and joy.

ABOUT THE ENNEAGRAM

The Enneagram is a powerful and ancient tool for personal and collective transformation. It maps nine distinct personality types that are rooted in psychology, spirituality, and somatics. It also helps us to identify the patterns that shape our behaviors, revealing how these patterns may inhibit growth and change. The goal of our learning of the Enneagram is to foster understanding of our core patters so that we may gain deeper self-awareness and create lasting, meaningful transformation in our life and relationships.

OUR RETREAT IN DEPTH

While we need defense mechanisms to protect us in a challenging world, our defense mechanisms often turn on us. Instead of protecting us, they hold us back. Over time, these patterns become rigid and reactive, keeping us stuck and preventing us from living the abundant, flourishing life we desire.

At this weekend retreat we will explore our unproductive defense mechanisms through the lens of the Narrative Enneagram. In a safe and compassionate space, we’ll identify our defenses, meet them with understanding, and loosen their grip on our lives. We’ll open the door to deeper personal growth, freedom, and transformation.

This retreat will utilize the Narrative Enneagram, which emphasizes learning through the sharing of personal stories. In small group panels, dyads, and council circles, participants will explore their unique experiences within their Enneagram type in a supportive, experiential setting.

What You’ll Gain by Participating

  • A deeper understanding of your defense mechanisms and how they shape your life.

  • Tools to relax these patterns and embrace greater freedom and connection.

  • Insights into your Enneagram type and its path toward growth and transformation.

Join us for this transformational weekend of self-discovery and growth as we explore pathways to living with grace, freedom, and love.
